Description

Lever arms are great training implements to provide movement variety, and they’re especially good for generating explosiveness. The arms are affixed to the rack posts and can be used on both push and pull movements. … lever arms can be a great addition to your equipment arsenal.
What does a lever arms do ?
A lever arm is often used in mechanisms to increase their force capability: a stiff bar is connected to a pivot (or hinge), named the fulcrum; the load and actuator are positioned at different distances from the pivot. This way, the force applied by the bar to the load can be increased
What is the advantage of using a lever arms ?
Levers are used to multiply force, In other words, using a lever gives you greater force or power than the effort you put in. In a lever, if the distance from the effort to the fulcrum is longer than the distance from the load to the fulcrum, this gives a greater mechanical advantage.
